I just got these headphones i had to choose between the samson z45, yamaha hph-mt5, and these ones. at first i chose the samson z45 but after getting them home and testing them they had too much bass and not enough high mids or highs so i returned them and chose these and i think they sound great. they sound very much like my yamaha hs80 monitors and everything sounds exactly like it should. anyone thinking about headphones in the $100 range should definitely check these out
