Philips SHP9600 BÃ1/4gelkopfhörer

These headphones came in with me being unable to hear voices as they would be muffled and i had to go in an turn down the volume of the right headphones for voices to be heard. No matter where I look I cannot find any drivers for these headphones and don't know where to find them or if there even is any. These are supposed to also offer directional audio for video games from what I've been told but these offer no such thing with all sounds not telling what's left or right and I have tried this in a multitude of games. These are the worst headphones I have ever bought and will only change my review if given the right instructions to fix the audio problems I have encountered

Tried out the 9600s after my 9500s were broken during a move to a new house. Sounded great for the money, but super disappointed in the build quality. The left ear cup dangles now as it broke right at the pivot point. Only used for 6-8 months before they broke.

These are a great entry level audiophile headphone. The build is mostly plastic with a metal insert headband. The plastic doesnt feel cheap though. If you are wanting to enter the audiophile space and have never heard an open back headphone then these are your headphones.

First pair of open backs I’ve bought, really impressed by the build quality and soundstage

The build quality is still the same compared to the Philips SHP9500 though it has fixed some issues. For example now there's a better bass response and the treble is slightly recessed making the SHP9600 a more warm sounding headphone compared to the SHP9500. It also has a deeper padding compared to its predecessor. It's basically a X2HR on a budget. Absolutely recommended
