Sound quality is phenomenal for earbuds, best I’ve ever had. The noise cancelling thing is pretty good too, makes them fun to wear when you’re walking around. My only real problem with them is that they’re kind of uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time since they’re bulkier than you’d think they would be. They also make a grating noise if the two wires hit together but you can stop that by keeping it from getting tangled. They’re super durable so that’s nice.

These are sorta a niche product and I don't think people looking at these realize it. It's really cool to have ANC on headphones this small, especially so since they don't require charging to operate. ANC requires power to work, that's just how it works (look it up if you don't know); so most wireless headsets have it because they already have a battery to run the headset altogether. These JBLs take that power from the lightning port on your iPhone to get that power, so you never have to worry about your headset going dead. The headphones sound fine; they are pretty comfortable for in-ears; and they are certainly designed with fitness use in-mind. The reflectance of the cable is brilliant; very, very bright. It would be easily seen by a car's headlights on an early-morning jog. I highly recommend these headphones, especially at their price point, better still for their average ANC. And hey, they work with your modern jackless iPhones without an adapter.

I am an audiophile who has spent a fortune for stereo systems. I have used a couple of Apple earpods, which sound better than a lot of its competitors. But Earpods are nothing compared with these JBL Active Noise Cancellation earphones. At first, its sound was ordinary, but after a couple of hours, it was burnt in, and its sound become clearer, cleaner, more dynamic...With a easy-to-use JBL app. You can equalize the sound or just simply use presets "bass", "jazz"...and its sound will be wonderfull. If you use iphone, ipad to listen to the music these JBl earphones are irresistable, and these are very affordable, too.

I found these to be excellent headphones for the price. I bought these because I was tired of my wireless headphones running out of batteries on my longer hikes or workouts. It’s nice to be able to plug them and just go. It’s also great to be able to control the volume and pause and play from the headphone’s control module on the wire instead of needing to handle the phone. I’m not saying these would work if you’re looking for 4K surround sound videos but they make great workouts headphones.

I liked these earbuds for the few days that I was able to use them. They quickly became impossible to use with my iPhone, however. Every time I plugged them in the phone would give me a dreadful "accessory not supported" message and the sound would play from the phone speakers instead of the earbuds. I tried everything. The lightning connector was nearly new and perfectly clean. My iPhone's port works with every other accessory and charger that I try. It must be the earbuds. Extremely frustrating.
