Only down-side is that it can't be used with standard phone-jack alone as it needs power form the USB

It's not clear from the description, but these come with the foam insert. They fit perfectly and are not distinguishable from the original. Would be nice if they sold them in single pairs though. I can recommend highly.

The primary reason of purchase was to have a noise cancelling mic. While it claims this feature, the mic picks up noise from across the room and drowns me out. Fail.
