Der Grado SR125x überzeugt durch seinen außergewöhnlich detaillierten und klaren Klang, besonders im Mitteltonbereich und bei Stimmen. Das leichte Design und der hohe Tragekomfort eignen sich für lange Hörsessions. Die Verarbeitung ist solide und die Ohrpolster sind austauschbar, was die Lebensdauer erhöht. Das offene Design lässt jedoch Umgebungsgeräusche durch. Der Bass ist klar und definiert, aber nicht sehr tief und ohne Subbass, was für manche Musikrichtungen ein Nachteil sein kann. Das Kabel ist robust, aber nicht abnehmbar, und moderne Funktionen wie Mikrofon oder Bluetooth fehlen. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Wahl für Klangpuristen ohne Bedarf an Zusatzfunktionen.

Tried these a few weeks ago along with the rest of the range sr80X sr125X sr225x, sr325x and the hemps. i would have been completely satisfied with the sr80x but the next ones up in the range just seemed a little smoother with just a hint more definition in the bass. I waited a while to review. they have a lovely airy sound and are a bit brighter sounding than my HD600s which is exactly what i was looking for - something with a different sonic signature. the only issue i have is the cord is very thick and the y- terminator never seems to sit right. and the supplied pads take a few weeks to get used to. they are very good sounding headphones for the price if wired headphones are your thing.
