While the Bowers & Wilkins PI5 true wireless earbuds don't have absolutely everything you could need from a pair of headphones, they do have tonnes to offer including high-end sound and effective noise-cancelling tech. They're a great alternative B&W's priciest pair of buds.

Bowers & Wilkins' expensive Pi5 S2 true wireless earphones sound excellent, but lag behind the competition with unremarkable noise cancellation and a bare-bones companion app.

There is a compelling reason to choose headphones from Bowers & Wilkins: the sound. This applies to the revised version of the Pi5 as much as it did to the previous model. Fans of the British manufacturer will not mind if one or two features are sacrificed compared to competing products.

Fun sound? Tick. Good noise cancellation? Tick. Great looks? Tick. The B&W PI5 earphones have the performance where it counts at this price, though comfort is an issue, and they fall short of class-leaders for sound.

The true wireless Bowers & Wilkins PI5 earphones get most things right, but nothing elevates them above the similarly priced noise-cancelling competition.
