Der Audio-Technica ATH-AVC500 bietet eine hervorragende Klangqualität mit tiefem Bass und klaren Details, besonders für den Heimgebrauch. Der komfortable Kopfbügel und die weichen Ohrpolster sorgen für angenehme lange Hörsessions. Das robuste Aluminiumgehäuse verhindert Vibrationen und sorgt für satten Klang. Es fehlen jedoch aktive Geräuschunterdrückung und kabellose Optionen, und das geschlossene Design kann bei längerem Tragen warm werden. Das lange Kabel ist praktisch zu Hause, aber weniger für unterwegs geeignet. Für HiFi-Sound und Komfort daheim ist dies eine gute Wahl.

Positives: best sound quality I've heard on a headset especially when considering the price. The build quality is pretty sound. Negatives: Rather than adjusting the band it adjusts itself. This equates to it clamping to your head. For me this squeezes the top of my head and gives me a headache after half an hour. The ear cups are also not really deap enough or have enough padding on the driver's so the tips of my hears start to hurt.

The earcups are large enough to accomodate small to medium ears and the sound stage is better than most headphones at this price point. There is little to no noise isolation so to speak and as such you will be able to hear external sounds unless you are listening at considerable volume. These headphones are never uncomfortable to wear even after extended use and come with my solid recommendation after 2 months of heavy use.

These headphones are the best in their price band, and I expect better then a lot of more expensive headphones. They are very comfortable and auto adjust when you put them on. Great for home use. I have 3 pairs of Beyerdynamics which have a better build quality but cost twice the price of these. I use these AVC500 headphones everyday. Very loud powered through a DAC. Update, I like these so much I have bought a second pair. Not for outside use, but great at home for use with a pc watching youtube music video.
