Der Audeze MM-500 ist ein High-End-Open-Back-Kopfhörer, entwickelt für professionelle Studio- und kritische Höranwendungen. Der Klang ist sehr analytisch und neutral, wodurch Details und Nuancen in der Musik gut hörbar sind. Die Verarbeitungsqualität und die verwendeten Materialien sind erstklassig, und der Tragekomfort eignet sich für lange Sitzungen. Die Stereobühne ist breit und Instrumente sind klar voneinander zu unterscheiden. Der Preis ist jedoch hoch, und der Anpressdruck kann für manche Nutzer zu stark sein. Die Betonung der Mitten/Höhen kann bei längerem Hören ermüden, und Subbass sowie Höhen sind weniger präsent als bei einigen anderen High-End-Modellen. Wer einen zuverlässigen Referenzkopfhörer sucht, trifft mit dem MM-500 eine ausgezeichnete Wahl, sofern die genannten Nachteile akzeptiert werden.

Das teil hält was es verspricht. Nur leider kam das Teil benutzt an, tiefe kratzen am lack und etwas genutzte cups… Geht zurück für einen eventuellen Umtausch.

The Audeze MM-500 perform better than their audio reproduction accuracy score suggests. While their frequency response deviates from their flat sound signature, the absence of fluctuations in narrow, neighboring frequency bands indicates deliberate tuning rather than uncontrolled audio reproduction. The treble region features a slight low-treble emphasis coupled with mid-treble de-emphasis, retaining detail and articulation in vocals and instruments while softening sibilants. The Audeze headphones have very good stereo matching and excellent harmonic distortion performance, so you won't notice shifts in the stereo image caused by the headphones, nor coloration from unwanted harmonics. While the headphones excite the pinna, our PRTF measurements indicate their presentation won't sound as natural as our benchmark, an angled stereo speaker setup.

Simply put, the best headphones you can buy. Clear mids, sparkling highs, and full, speedy lows. If you are looking for something with heavy bass with an artificially warm sound, this isn’t for you. I had the LCD-X and these are definitely a cut above, at least. These have become my go-to open backs, with the Focal Radiance being my go-to closed back choice. If you can afford it, pull the trigger. And if you are thinking about the LCD-X, I would recommend saving up a bit more and go for these. Y...
