LEGO The Hobbit: An Unexpected Gathering (79003) ist bei Fans von LEGO und Der Hobbit sehr beliebt. Das größte Plus ist die detailgetreue und stimmungsvolle Darstellung von Bilbos Zuhause, Beutelsend, mit vielen authentischen Details und einer stabilen Bauweise, die auch für Kinder geeignet ist. Das Set enthält sechs einzigartige Minifiguren und viele lustige Accessoires wie Essen, Karten und das Schwert Stich. Es gibt aber auch Nachteile: Das Set ist relativ teuer für die Anzahl der Teile, einige Details sind Aufkleber statt bedruckter Teile, und der Innenraum ist auf einen Raum komprimiert. Insgesamt ein Muss für Fans, aber weniger interessant, wenn man nur viele Teile oder ein komplett filmgetreues Interieur sucht.

disappointing it didnt go all the way through the story and that was more over the movies than the true text of the books.

Wife and I love the LEGO games. Hobbit is one of the earlier ones out there; it has awesome ideas and cool puzzles and concepts. I think the controls and some of the resources needed for completion take a little while to gather and take away from the game. But with that it came out before some later LEGO games it was just revolutionary before its time.
