LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Platinum Hits) bietet eine große offene Gotham-Welt und viele DC-Charaktere, was das Spiel für Superheldenfans und Familien attraktiv macht. Die Sprachausgabe sorgt für mehr Humor und Story. Der Co-op-Modus ist ideal für gemeinsames Spielen. Es gibt jedoch technische Probleme wie Framerate-Einbrüche, besonders im Splitscreen, und einige Helden werden erst spät freigeschaltet. Die offene Welt ist beeindruckend, kann aber eintönig werden, und die langen, nicht überspringbaren Zwischensequenzen können stören. Insgesamt ein starkes LEGO-Spiel mit klaren Schwächen für Komplettisten.

This game is better than the first in that it has many more playable characters that you actually care about. But, when I play Lego games, I am playing two player with my son. This game is fun, unless one of you is switching characters. When one of you is switching characters, the other player can't control their own person and loses visibility. My son changes characters often. This frustrates me quite a bit. Also, the first game allowed you to switch from regular batman to glidey batman to sonic batman all willy nilly. This only allows you to choose regular batman, then you have to go find a special suit to do the other stuff. I guess that makes it more of a "challenge," but I already beat the game. At this point, I don't need a challenge, I just need more freedom in my free play.
