The Division 2 ist ein technisch beeindruckender Looter-Shooter, der die Fehler seines Vorgängers größtenteils korrigiert. Die Gameplay-Schleife ist befriedigend und sorgt für ein konstantes Gefühl des Fortschritts, mit exzellenter Schießmechanik und einem Belohnungssystem, das Spieler motiviert hält. Die visuelle Präsentation ist wunderschön, mit detaillierten Nachbildungen von Washington D.C., die auf PlayStation 4 technisch gut laufen. Der Endgame-Content bietet taktische Herausforderungen mit tiefgehenden Anpassungsmöglichkeiten, bei denen jede Mod Vor- und Nachteile hat. Das Multiplayer-Matchmaking verbessert die Erfahrung im Vergleich zum ersten Teil erheblich. Allerdings ist die Story enttäuschend schwach und hat wenig Impact, was für eine 40-50 Stunden lange Kampagne schade ist. Das Spiel ist eindeutig für kooperatives Spielen konzipiert und Solo-Spieler werden weniger Freude haben. Einige Missionen leiden unter künstlich verlängerten Kämpfen mit Gegnern, die zu viel Schaden einstecken. Trotz dieser Mängel gilt The Division 2 weithin als einer der besten Looter-Shooter, die zum Launch erschienen sind, mit solider technischer Leistung und hunderten Stunden Inhalt für engagierte Spieler.

It’s a strong looter shooter! Multiple builds can be crafted to adhere to your playstyle! I loved it so much that I’m going to go back and play the first one, too! Definitely don’t pass on this one. It’s strictly online only, but you can still play solo, if you want to.

A vast improvement from the first Division game. If you like 3rd person Military shooters with RPG like elements then this game is for you.

Really an excellent action experience that can be played as an MMO or single player. Although there are some special rewards for playing in a group I found it to be very challenging and satisfying to play alone. There is a nice variety of missions and I didn't have any real trouble finishing the game solo. The game rewards smart gameplay.

Love the gameplay, visuals, sound FX and character/weapon customizations but the story line, or lack there of, is where it truly falls short. The missions are so repetitive, its safe to say there really isnt a storyline. If there is, its not immersive due to that fact.
