SingStar: Ultimate Party schneidet schlecht ab wegen der Entfernung wesentlicher Party-Modi, die das Franchise definierten. Obwohl die kostenlose Smartphone-App eine innovative Lösung bietet und ältere Mikrofone unterstützt werden, ist die Mikrofonlautstärke so leise, dass Spieler sich selbst kaum hören können. Die Songliste von 30 Titeln ist begrenzt und auf ein jüngeres Publikum ausgerichtet, was viele Fans enttäuscht. Der größte Nachteil ist, dass gekaufte Inhalte von PS3 aufgrund von Lizenzproblemen nicht vollständig übertragbar sind, und die Disc-Swap-Funktionalität fehlt vollständig. Rezensionen sind sich einig: Diese Version ist schlechter als ältere SingStar-Spiele auf PS3, die mehr Modi, bessere Liedauswahl und volle Funktionalität bieten. Für ein authentisches Karaoke-Erlebnis bleibt die PS3-Version die bessere Wahl.

Ein superlustiges Spiel, es macht wirklich Spaß, wenn man mit mehreren spielt. Es funktioniert sehr gut, mit der Übertragung, man muss aber wirklich dann Leute haben, die auch singen und nicht nur summen, den wer richtig summt kann auch ordentlich Punkte machen und es ist halt lustiger wenn man singt. Wir hatten immer sehr viel Spaß in der Runde.

Singstar ist das Non plus Ultra auf dem Markt der Karaoke spiele. Viele 2er Singstar sind auf der Playstation 3 spielbar. Die 3er Titel sind vom Video und Ton her deutlich besser. Absolute Top Titel und wir haben sie fast alle

Selbst nach fast 10 Jahren kommt Singstar Mallorca Party bei uns noch oft auf Partys zum Einsatz. Ballermann Hits sind eben jedem bekannt und dürfen auf keinem Karaoke Abend Fehlen .

Ich habe mir diese Disc vor allem wegen "Amsterdam", "Joana", "Sie liebt den DJ" und dem Fliegerlied geholt. Und die Lieder wurden auch echt gut für SingStar umgesetzt. Alles andere, was noch so drauf ist, ist ein netter und unterhaltsamer Zusatz und lustig, wenn man mit mehreren SingStar spielt.

I bought this singing game along with a USB microphone to use with my girlfriend's PS3. The USB microphone was recognized by her PS3, but when I loaded up the game, it refused to work unless I used the specific SingStar microphone that is sold separately and costs around 4 times as much as the PS3 compatible USB microphone that i bought. Shame on SingStar for forcing people to use their own propitiatory (and expensive) microphone in order to use this game. There's no reason why the SingStar games should not work with a PS3 compatible USB microphone. My girlfriend was so excited to get the game and microphone, but it was a huge disappointed when we discovered that the game refused to work unless you plug in it's own propitiatory microphone! We ended up just singing to YouTube videos! What a disappointment! :(
