Die Silent Hill HD Collection für PS3 enthält Remaster von Teil 2 und 3, beide ikonische Horrorspiele. Trotz hoher Wiederspielbarkeit und starkem Soundtrack gibt es große technische Probleme wie Framerate-Einbrüche, schlechte Audio-Synchronisation und veränderten Nebel, der die Atmosphäre beeinträchtigt. Besonders Puristen vermissen die Originalstimmen in SH3. Für Neulinge ist es eine Gelegenheit, die Spiele zu erleben, aber Besitzer der Originalversionen werden von der Qualität dieser Remaster enttäuscht sein. Es gibt viel Diskussion über den technischen Zustand, aber der Kern der Spiele bleibt stark.

I absolutely love the Silent Hill series, but to say that I hate the HD Collection is a HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT. The original games are amazing and even though they can feel dated they are much better than this garbage. The game barely ever runs at 30fps and it constantly dropped to less than 20fps in many parts of the game. It looks so much worse than the original, not that they look too terrible but the "remaster" is absolutely ugly. The game's load times between cutscenes and opening and closing your inventory is absolutely terrible, it is so slow, it's not even me being impatient either it's really that bad. I'm not going to type out everything wrong with this game, but just know that it is bad. My only message to fans and new comers of the series is don't pick this game up, it is not worth it. If you are going to play Silent Hill 2 or 3 play it on an emulator, or on the PS2, Xbox Classic, or PC.

Thought it was all 3, but it was only the sequels. Definitely should make that bigger on the case.
