Shenmue 1 & 2 bietet eine einzigartige, nostalgische offene Welt mit viel Freiheit und Atmosphäre, jetzt in HD und mit schnellen Ladezeiten. Das Kampfsystem ist tiefgehend und die Interaktion mit der Umgebung groß. Allerdings sind Steuerung und Kamera veraltet, das Tempo ist langsam und es gibt noch technische Probleme wie Soundfehler. Moderne Benutzerfreundlichkeit fehlt, was es neuen Spielern erschweren kann. Fans des Originals werden es genießen, neue Spieler sollten diese Einschränkungen beachten.

The games are good, but you have to be patient with the pacing, it might come off as very slow but it compensates that with an interactive setting: with places to go explore and minigames to play as well.

It's an okay series of games. The first one is a bit slower paced than the second but it'll always be my favorite game from the Dreamcast era. The second game has more action. I tried to play the third game too but it wasn't very fun (I played Shenmue III for a few hours). I may give it another chance in the future.

Great game. I never played it until I purchased this copy. I know it was even released on ps4 until I stumbled across it at GameStop.
