Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure ist ein einfaches 3D-Plattformspiel, das besonders für Kinder und Familien geeignet ist. Die Steuerung ist leicht zu erlernen und die Atmosphäre ist für Fans der Ice Age-Filme wiedererkennbar. Das Spiel bietet lustige Sammelobjekte und eignet sich gut für gemeinsames Spielen. Gleichzeitig ist der Schwierigkeitsgrad sehr niedrig, sodass Erwachsene wenig Herausforderung finden. Die Kamerasteuerung wird oft als frustrierend empfunden und die Spielzeit ist im Verhältnis zum Preis kurz. Auch gibt es wenig Abwechslung im Gameplay, was es für erfahrene Spieler weniger attraktiv macht.

The game was a repetitive mess. Nothing about it was entertaining or well made. It was advised as a 3D platformer and it doesn't even function as that. You fight the same enemies over and over again, and Scratt's attacks have so little reach that you have to basically run into the enemies to register a hit. Not that I would know if I hit them, there is no indication of a successful hit. Just keep mashing the attack button until everything is dead. I was so bored I gave up 2 hours in. I tried to return the game, but Gamestop wouldn't let me...and I wasn't even allowed to trade it in for anything either. I haven't been to game stop in some time, and now I think I'll just stop going all together.
