The game is still broken in 2026 on Windows 11 unless you use an unofficial fix. Look up "Game not launching on Windows 11 24H2 Partial Fix" on Nexus Mods. I am on 25H2 but it still works. Even with this fix it only works in bordered window mode, which is not only ugly it is also unacceptable for a game under the God Old Game banner that claims to be 2026 ready. GOG needs to fix this. It looks like the bug does not happen under all Windows 11 installations but it should not happen at all.

- Jaime Lannister Lmao This is one of those bad games you just can't stop playing until you've completed them... and then you still manage to get disappointed by the ending Jokes and asides aside, it was a fun experience. 30 hours of unbroken storyline, which I realize I prefer over "open-world" which really dilutes the whole narrative experience, moral dilemmas abound, charming humor, and a touch of moral depravity, for 9.99$ is a pretty good deal. Combat isn't good, or bad, it just exists. It doesn't really take away from the game or add to it, so I'd say it's serviceable. Really it's one of those games that are like movies you watch when you want to watch a bad movie, and it turns out it's got its good points. Story felt like some retelling of the Bhaalspawn saga with an actually interesting twist and none of the emotional baggage of sudden tearjerkers in the ending slides.

Overall it's a fun time. Side quests are a bit grindy- fetch quests mostly. Some of the main quests include a lot of pointless map travel that feels like it is only there to make the game last longer.
