Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen für Nintendo Switch bietet ein tiefes Kampfsystem, viele Klassen und ein einzigartiges Pawn-System, das Strategie und Abwechslung bringt. Alle DLCs sind enthalten, was für viel Inhalt sorgt. Das Spiel läuft gut im Handheld- und Docked-Modus, aber es gibt Framedrops, Pop-in und lange Ladezeiten bei Gasthäusern. Einige Nebenquests sind weniger spannend und die Sichtweite ist im Handheld-Modus begrenzt. Für Action-RPG- und Fantasy-Fans ist es trotz technischer Schwächen eine gute Wahl.

Mechanics help this old game to stand out amongst the games of today. When you combine the gameplay and innovative pawn system, DD holds its own as a worthy entry into the RPG genre. It also uses those systems as a means of retaining replayability. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of 5 is because the story could be done a lot better. Your POV character can’t speak or add anything by means of personality to the vast world created in DD, even when they make choices that have rippling consequences. Age isn’t much of an excuse here as it originally came out around the same time as Mass Effect 3 (a game series in the RPG genre that already had a lot of main POV personality established through dialogue and choices).

I have always loved action/fantasy games like Skyrim so this is also perfect for me!!!!

My favorite game of all time, and I just had to have a copy for my Switch to play on the go. Basically, this game is what I imagine in my head whenever I'm playing a tabletop game of Dungeons and Dragons. The level of interaction with your environment and foes is remarkable, and the ability to recruit help from online (without needing a subscription!) adds a lot of fun in party building. Just play it, it's awesome.

One of my favorite games ever! I've played it many times on Playstation but always have the urge to revisit. Happy to now have a portable version of the game to enjoy when I go on trips! It feels a little weird to play portable at first but I'm getting used to it. The cartridge was in good shape and loaded right up just fine.
