Devil May Cry 5 für PS4 wird für sein tiefgehendes und flüssiges Kampfsystem gelobt, bei dem man mit drei verschiedenen Charakteren spielt, die jeweils eigene Waffen und Moves haben. Die Grafik ist beeindruckend und die Animationen sind sehr flüssig, was für ein visuelles Spektakel sorgt. Auch der Soundtrack wird oft als Stärke genannt. Es gibt jedoch viele Ladebildschirme, die die Action manchmal unterbrechen, und die Umgebungen hätten abwechslungsreicher sein können. Die Story ist vor allem für Fans interessant, kann aber für neue Spieler schwer nachvollziehbar sein. Insgesamt ist es eines der besten Actionspiele dieser Generation, aber diese kleinen Schwächen sollte man beachten.
