Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package bietet eine riesige Menge an Inhalten und alle DLCs, was es zur besten Wahl für Fans macht. Der Capcom Heroes-Modus sorgt für zusätzliche Abwechslung. Allerdings wird das Gameplay schnell eintönig und die Kämpfe sowie die Grafik wirken gerade auf der PS4 veraltet. Das fehlende Zeitlimit macht das Spiel zugänglicher, enttäuscht aber Fans der klassischen Reihe. Insgesamt die kompletteste Version, aber ohne große Innovationen.

Dead Rising 4 is a medicore game. Every zombie looks exactly the same, the world is not even as interactive as in the original title, the gameplay is getting tired, Frank is less interesting this time around, and the plots standard. They also removed unique survivors, psychopaths, the timer and throwing any weapons. The inventory system will almost definitely dissapoint any long term fan, as it is far more restrictive. Only designated throwing weapons can be thrown, only designated melee weapons can be swung, food can't be used any other way than health restoration etc. Despite this, creative zombie killing is still as fun as ever. I would give it three stars but I think this title is an insult to the original that it shares its' setting and protagonist with.

This game was a mess, I didn't think I would miss the old Frank voice actor but this guy is 10x worse. Sounds like a really back Homer Simpson/ Bender wanna be. The gameplay got stale after an hour you spend more time running past zombies since combat is a chore and the weapons constantly break. These weapons feel like they have less alternate attacks and you can only throw certain weapons.

I like it but its not nearly as good as number. The multi player starts to get so boring and some portions are really hard. it doesn't have a feature to join in story mode. so that sucks bigtime.

Here's a title that not only fails to win over fans of Dead Rising, but it also fails to win over fans of videogames. Slaying hundreds of thousands of zombies is not compelling entertainment, especially when the combat mechanics are so unsatisfying. The entire adventure just feels tired and cynical, sapping players of the necessary energy to carry on with their day. This critic racked up well over 25 hours of play and didn't laugh, not even once. What else needs to be said? Maybe this game is for people who no longer wish to experience joy.
