I was not sure what to expect when I picked up this gem of a game. After 3 hours of playing I became involved in the characters, story, and missions. It's easy to see the Japanese RPG elements combined with their anime art styling in this title. It's absolutely beautiful to look at and explore. Fans of Final Fantasy games need to try Star Ocean as it should not be missed. The game is on three discs so it should last a while from start to finish. I'm still on the first disc but already have enjoyed the game a lot. I suggest going through the battle tutorials for first timers as this game has a unique real-time battle system. This is easily one of 360's hidden gems.

Really good game mechanics and infectious characters make this one of the golden games of Xbox. Definitely a good buy
