We have been using the Osprey backpacks but found them just a touch too small for our traveling, the 40 with a 55 is the perfect size for us.

Excellent quality. This is our 5th Black Hole duffle, we have several sizes. They are great for travel, whether you’re staying at a hotel, flying or camping. They hold up and look good for years.

Best carry on bag on market. Our luggage is all Blackhole from older version to new. now have two 40L wheeled. This new one is matte black vs older version is shiny but we like both. I love the wheels are godly in the luggage body. Fits lot more than standard carry on and fits in overhead every time no matter the plane. See my lineup below: * Blackhole duffel 55L: fits overhead always no matter the plane bc it compresses well and no one asks us to check it either, it packs a lot! Always get asked about it. Had handles and Shoulder straps. Can get heavy on back but so worth it to avoid checking bag. * Blackhole wheeled duffel 40L: best carry on wheeled in market * Blackhole wheeled duffel 70L: a checked bag that’s durable * Blackhole carry 45L: great carry on or road trip but doesn’t fit under seat tho. So many compartments. Has sling, handles and shoulder straps. * Blackhole backpack 25L: great for day hikes, work, gym, or extra personal item on plane

I bought this bag hoping to use it as a gym , weekend bag, personal item for flights because it covert to a backpack. The quality looks good sturdy and durable, zippers function very well. The 40L is too large for anything other a weekend bag or carry on luggage. The reason I took off one star was because the bag did not provide secondary compartment to place shoes separately from clothes or dirty clothes from clean clothes. Its also near impossible to refold it into its self for storing.

I generally love the Black Hole Duffle but I can't figure out how to attach the backpack straps. I think they are missing a piece of strap on the each loop end. Can anyone help?
