Das Beurer FT 58 ist ein Ohrthermometer mit Infrarot, das in wenigen Sekunden misst und zusätzlich Objekt- und Raumtemperatur bestimmen kann, wodurch es vielseitig einsetzbar ist. Nützliche Extras sind Fieberalarm, Smiley-Symbole und ein Speicher für 10 Messwerte sowie mitgelieferte Schutzkappen und Aufbewahrungsbox. Gleichzeitig melden mehrere Nutzer auf Bewertungsseiten, dass die Messungen teils deutlich zu niedrig und damit unzuverlässig sind, besonders bei wiederholten Messungen. Es bietet nur Ohrmessung ohne kontaktlosen oder Stirnmodus und hat kein beleuchtetes Display, was die Nutzung in der Nacht erschweren kann. Damit eignet es sich vor allem als praktisches, aber nicht als das genaueste Gerät für eine sehr präzise Fieberkontrolle.

I liked the thermometer first 2 days. It was good and precise but it stopped working on day 3 and the issue is that it doesn’t hold batteries. Batteries just fly out of their sockets so thermometer doesn’t work. It is super sad. I specially went for European thermometer so I get a quality product but it looks like even Europe isn’t doing quality things anymore?

DO NOT BUY!! Especially if you have a big family or need it regularly due to ongoing health problems. Replacement caps are only available in a pack of 20 at a cost of 4.49. Caps for all others are available for 7.75 for 200! The same amount of caps will cost me nearly 45 pound! I could buy a main brand one AND 400 caps for the price of 200 caps for this one. Never expected their to be such a difference. Be warned if you choose this due to being a bit cheaper. Just spend that extra couple of quid and save double that in a couple months when you replace caps!

Do not fit the Beurer FT58. The caps just fall off. The original ones clip on and you press the button to discard. These ones aren’t long enough to click on. Very disappointed.
