Das Beurer FT 58 ist ein Ohrthermometer mit Infrarot, das in wenigen Sekunden misst und zusätzlich Objekt- und Raumtemperatur bestimmen kann, wodurch es vielseitig einsetzbar ist. Nützliche Extras sind Fieberalarm, Smiley-Symbole und ein Speicher für 10 Messwerte sowie mitgelieferte Schutzkappen und Aufbewahrungsbox. Gleichzeitig melden mehrere Nutzer auf Bewertungsseiten, dass die Messungen teils deutlich zu niedrig und damit unzuverlässig sind, besonders bei wiederholten Messungen. Es bietet nur Ohrmessung ohne kontaktlosen oder Stirnmodus und hat kein beleuchtetes Display, was die Nutzung in der Nacht erschweren kann. Damit eignet es sich vor allem als praktisches, aber nicht als das genaueste Gerät für eine sehr präzise Fieberkontrolle.

Works well, but beeps when you use it to measure temperature. And for a baby nothing should beep in their ear otherwise they start crying, or wake up when sleeping. Removed 1x star due to the beeping. Removed another start because the setting are difficault to manage. You have to press two buttons at the same time to switch between contact mode and ear mode. But it is not that simple. And at night when you get random errors and you press buttons and the thing beeps it is not great. But it works well. These are just the things I didn't like.

This product has a excellent storage case that is very helpfull. however for baby use in the night it is difficult. it has no backlight. you will need a light to read the temperature.

This product worked perfectly for the first 2 months, however it stopped recording properly after that. Consistently gave readings of 32 degrees, even on my toddler that had a temp of 39!(confirmed by Dr) the box says it has a 6 year guarantee but it's not returnable through takealot!
