It's a very technical piano and I have still a lot to learn to get the most out of it, I am not very savy when it comes to downloading stuff which would be compatible with my electric piano, but I am happy with the sounds coming from the piano. I will probably have to go one day to the roland piano store and get someone to explain all the many technical features of my piano and how the roland piano app could enhance my playing experience

The FP-90X not only has a superb piano and regular sounds, it also has superb pad sounds for accompaniment. Duo sounds like piano and strings are individually controlled by sliders. Weighted keys are lifelike and the whole keyboard looks professional without knobs and switches all over the place. Direct computer inputs and a mic input with reverb if it's needed. The onboard sound is realistic and the controls are intuitive and easily learned

The sound quality is amazing I still have not gone through all that this piano can do yet but I'm sure I'll be surprised by whatever to come

Have upgraded from a 60X to a 90X. Such a difference. Great sound and feel. I love it.

The FP90X has a good quality feel to the key-bed. The general construction feels solid. The piano contains a wide range of sounds, although the small screen and up down controls makes selection some voices and features a bit tedious. A control wheel and larger screen would be a better option, however the quality of the key action more than makes up for this. The sounds from the FP90X are excellent when connected to a good pair of monitor speakers. Whilst the internal speakers are capable of providing loud volume at reasonably good quality, they are, like most digital pianos, not ideal for hearing the instrument at it's best. The addition of the matching Roland stand make this a very good looking instrument and well worth the additional cost, it looks so much better than the cheap and cheerful X shaped stands we see used so often. If I had to repeat the purchase of a digital piano at this price range, I would buy the same again
