Great head for landscapes, portraiture and shooting events on a monopod. However it's too imprecise for still life, architecture or anything requiring precise framing, particularly if multiple exposure / focus bracketing. It's hard to align parallels accurately and then it slips, no matter how tight tension set, especially if shooting in portrait mode. Might cope with lightweight camera/short lens, but slippage troublesome with Canon 5D Mk IV + 24-70 L lens, and heavy lenses (e.g. Canon L 70-200) are out of the question.

Great piece of kit, so simple to use and quick to change your camera position. Just grip the handle move the head to required position and release. so much easier than the traditional head I was using before. Grip tension is adjustable but you need strong hands to use it.

I give this Ball Head one star for the following reasons: 1. messy - the ball head section releases grease and it gets in your hands very easy 2. grip - the Ball Head is not strong enough to keep the camera on place. Very weak grip, no good, very malo, do not buy, please, do not sell it to people. Tested with a Canon 7D + Canon 70-200 f/4 and the head keep falling forward. 3. It is heavy

While I find the product to be wonderful... The only draw back for me is this... I wish I knew how hard it was to squeeze the handle to move it and how wide the handle was.. I have tiny hands and suffer from tendinitis and I find the handle trigger just a bit to hard to squeeze to move. other than that, I cannot say anything negative about the product. Great speedy and SMOOTH delivery to Canada as always with B&H.
