The Benro S8PRO has a superb pan action that my previous video head lacked (very jerky) this head is so smooth once setup to suit the attached video camera. It is quite heavy as the build is quite substantial compared to some other manufacturers products but this just seems to add to the stability, I just wish I'd discovered Benro products earlier, very happy with my purchase.

Good value for money. even thought its not a great performer. Better than many for the price. And light weight for the performance. The slider tends to stick when attaching it to the head. Alignment has to be near perfect for it to go easily on. Non-Benro sliders work better. Adjustments are a bit crude - but they all seem to be at this price. Delicate tilts and pans are out of the question. But I still like it.

I made a mistake of misunderstanding the product description and thinking that the head had pan and tilt but it does not pan. Luckily my monopod has panning so that takes care of that issue. Otherwise, the quality of the product is amazing. Benro is Benro. You know it's quality. The the LED light up balance is amazing for low light work.

I have 2 of these on different sticks. After 2 years, the QR plate release button broke into two pieces. I've searched, buy can't find a replacement part for it, or any parts except the QR plate. I'm really dreading sending the whole thing in to pay to replace a $2 part (guessing). I've contacted Benro. If they can't send me the button, I'll just try to glue it back together, or go without it.

Ok, so this fluid head is great but I can't give it quite a 5 star rating and here is the reason why. When I mount it onto my slider, it doesn't quite have a 360 degree or even a 180 degree pan. Granite that's not typically what you're using a fluid head on a slider for but in some of my particular cases it's what I need and it's disappointing that it doesn't have a lock down to turn like I'd like fluidly without messing up the screwing mechanism on the bottom. Other than that the head is great for tilt and panning when mounted on a tripod but just not a 5 star for pan when mounted onto a slider. Does is get the job done, yes, but would I like something better. Of course! Overall, it's a much better product than what I've had in the past but I will be looking at getting something else next time.
