Sony FE 16mm F/1.8 G

The 16mm is a great lens. I’ve just used it for landscape and astrophotography in Moab and the images came out great, super sharp. The lens is super light which made carrying it around an absolute joy. Can’t recommend enough. The staff at this company was great too, super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable to purchase from them and will continue to do so in the future.

This is a gem of a lens. It's really small, and really sharp. Autofocus is faultless. I bought it to downsize from the 16-35GM, as I realised I use that lens almost always at 16mm. I'm looking forward to using the 16 f1.8G for wide field astro photograpy as soon as the cloudy skies clear.

Habe lange gehadert, mir das Objektiv zuzulegen. Ich nutze es vorwiegend für Astroaufnahmen der Milchstraße. Mit 16mm statt 14 oder 20 mm die ideale Brennweite. Mit Schärfe, Farbsäume und Gängigkeit bin ich sehr zufrieden, in den Ecken könnte es einen Tacken schärfer sein
