I bought this to pair with my 18-35 1.8, which is my favorite lens for my camera, a Canon 70D. Seriously, the weight can make it less enjoyable to casually shoot and subconsciously causes me to use it less than I should. I Think it is a world class lens for an APSC and there is probably nothing close to it. I am comparing it with my previous camera/lens gear. Contax Zeiss Ikon with Zeiss glass, Contax with Zeiss glass.

Ich kann nur sagen, bei meiner D500 sau (extrem) scharfe Bilder. Der Autofokus ist sehr schnell so das man auch Tier oder Sport Aufnahmen problemlos damit machen kann, Sternen Himmel funktioniert auch super, was man da alles sehen kann wenn man es dann vergrößert... wau. Nun zum Gewicht, wer eine gute Kamera mit einem Kilo freiwillig trägt stören auch dann die 2,5 Kilo nicht... die Qualität der Bilder danken es einen... wer das eine mag muss das andere eben mögen...das Bukett ist super weich... der fehlende Bild Stabilisator fällt bei mir persönlich nicht ins Gewicht... also Top Objektiv für eine gute Kamera

Just received this in the mail. The focus ring and distance scale is BROKEN. Not moving at all. I was really pumped about getting this lens and was looking forward to using it at a wedding this weekend. Looks like I’ll be scrambling to rent a long lens, as the wedding is TOMORROW. I want to give this lens a 5 star review but for now it’s one star. I’m pretty disappointed, I figured a lens of this magnitude would have better quality control. I have contacted the seller, so let’s see how they respond.... Will update.
