I was pleasantly surprised when I received this lens, the quality of workmanship is outstanding, the lens is sharp even wide open from edge to edge, no decentering problem whatsoever. Stopping it down even by one F stop is impressively tack sharp. Love this lens, it is outstanding value for the money.

It is an exceptional value for the money, I could not believe it how sharp it is wide open at F2.8 from edge to edge with absolutely no decentering issue which is very common problem with some of the lenses. The workmanship is excellent better than some of Sony lenses. So I am very impressed and if you need a super wide angle lens, look no further, you found it.

Really like the improvement of this brand, previously I already own other samyang lenses, but this new generation surprised me about the quality, thank you!

I original ordered Samyang manual focus version of this lens. While it was well made I was not happy with its performance. I Decided to try Samyang AF version, this is not the same lens at all. It is a completely new design and function. I love this lens I use it on Sony a 7ll, it auto focus very well and it is very sharp and if needed manual focus is very easy. I would recommend this lens. I was amazed how well it works for astrophotography. PS B&H made the return of the original lens very easy Thanks B&H
