I really love this lens in terms of design, build quality, aesthetics, color rendition... and how it looks on my EOS M and EOS M5 (pictures attached). However, I had issues with sharpness. Nothing shot seems to be sharp. Canon 50mm f1.8 which costs 3 times cheaper was sharper at similar F-stops. Even 60$ lenses bought on ebay were sharper, so I had to return back. Not sure if the problem was with my copy only though, since the other reviewer doesn't seem to have this problem.

Die Abbildungsleistung ist mehr als perfekt. Mit meiner Fuji Pro2 sehr einfach scharf zu stellen. Was ich etwas negativ finde ist der schwer gängiger Fokusring. Traum Bokeh!

Von mir gibt es volle 5 Sterne. Mit diesem Objektiv gibt es keinen Grund mehr für Vollformat. Die Optische Bildwirkung entspricht einem 75mm f1.8 Objektiv auf Vollformat gerechnet. Das Bokeh ist schön cremig, die Schärfe super, die haptik ebenso. Man muss nur das manuelle Fokussieren mögen, dann spricht alles für diese Linse.

Beim ersten Mal habe ich leider ein dezentriertes Objektiv erwischt. Erkennbar daran, dass eine pläne Fläche bei links nie scharf war (Bild 1 bis 3 auf oranger Wand) Das hat Amazon mir razz fazz n Ersatz geschickt, das Alte ging zurück und und das zweite Exemplar auch, weil hier die Ränder aber einer Blende von größer F2,8 komplett unbrauchbar waren (Bild 4 bis 5 auf lila Wand) Leider nichts für die beworbene Landschaft Ein Stern Abzug wegen der bekannten Serienstreuung

I fell in love with my EOS m3 again because of this lens! amazing and solid lens for f/1.2 aperture results. If you don't mind manual mode then this lens is absolutely a more affordable option to other f/1.2 lens.
