Nikon Z 28-400mm F/4-8 VR

Auch, wenn die Blende 8 erst einmal vom Kauf abgehalten hat: Im Urlaub hat das Objektiv als immer drauf den Ansprüchen stand gehalten egal, ob beim Sonnenuntergang oder als Tele für Tierfotografie

I hesitated buying this lens. I wanted a lens to replace 2 lenses to bring on a family vacation because I wanted to travel light, and this lens delivered and then some!! The quality is amazing! Sure it isn’t fast but the technology is so good these days, that a high ISO on some pictures isn’t really a problem.Frankly one of the best purchases I have made this year.

Die Optik ist scharf und soweit o.k., (halt lichtschwach und daher zu teuer) wobei mir schleierhaft ist, warum Nikon nicht die "alte" AF-S 28-300 3.5-5.6 VR für das Z-System adaptiert und verbessert hat? Ich verwende lieber die "Alte", da ich das 28-400 von einem Freund ausleihen konnte.

Superzooms have always been viewed with a certain amount of disdain by “serious” photographers. Fairly or unfairly, lots of photographers would immediately dismiss anything more extreme than a 24-120mm lens. But now, Nikon has released not a superzoom, but a straight hyperzoom, whose wide end starts at 28mm and ends at 400mm: the Nikon Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR.

Ich habe es gleich zu Anfang erworben und war damit eine Woche mit der Z6 II in Lissabon unterwegs. Zur "Sicherheit" hatte ich noch das Z 24-120 f4 S mit dabei, nutzte es aber überhaupt nicht. Aber selbst zur Blauen Stunde war das 28-400 noch gut zu gebrauchen und lieferte scharfe Bilder. Lediglich in der Nacht habe ich das Z 50mm 1.8 S eingesetzt. Das 28-400 ist absolut perfekt für Landschaft- und Städtefotografie und ist noch besser als das ältere 28-300 für das F-Bajonett.
