Wieder so ein Objektiv das am Papier nicht besonders spannend ist, in der Realität aber eines der besten Nikon-Objektive ist, das ich je besessen habe (nur übertroffen vom AF-S 200/2.0). Märchenhaft schönes Bokeh, Schärfe dort wo es sein soll und präziser Autofocus, egal ob mit D850 oder Z7. Optimal für Mensch- und Tier-Portraits oder Nachtaufnahmen.

Good Points: The character and rendering of this lens is phenomenal. Focus is quick enough for family, pets and portraits. Images look 3D. Improvement Points: Should be weather sealed at this price point. Some people may not like the low sharpness at F1.4 but contrast is still good to shoot wide open.

Hervorragende optische Leistung, sehr gute Objektivfassung. Sehr gute Bildschärfe, guter Kontrast und kaum Reflexe bei Gegenlichtaufnahmen. Was hier auch noch sehr positiv hinzukommt, ist die hervorragende Objektivfassung. Dies ist bei modernen Objektiven ja nicht selbstverständlich. Absoluter Kauftipp!

Dieses Objektiv ist etwas speziell, ich habe es mir in erster Linie für Hochzeiten zugelegt, denn bei Blende 1.4 hat es diesen magischen Look, es ist nicht wirklich etwas knackscharf, aber die Gesamtwirkung des Bildes ist magisch. Dieses Objektiv ist berühmt für sein schönes Bokeh, das kann ich nur bestätigen. Und schon ab Blende 1.8 ist dann auch wirklich scharf, dafür ist die Magie dann etwas weniger. Der Autofocus ist wirklich sehr schnell und sicher an meiner D4 und D810. Man sollte bei dem Objektiv gerade bei Blende 1.4 aber eine Feinjustierung der Schärfe an der Kamera vornehmen. Der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach 500 Euro zu hoch, aber ein 1.4er ist eben kein Massenprodukt. Man kann sich aber eben von der Masse durch diesen Bildlook deutlich abheben

This lens has great bokeh. It makes the subject really stand out and nice contrast. The focus is fast. I used this to take pictures of indoor basketball from just behind and to the side of the backboard with excellent focus results and excellent isolation of the players from the spectators.Its a very versatile lens-good for scenery or people. I sold my Nikon 50mm 1.4 because this 58mm lens has better detail, contrast, it makes the subject pop, and I was not satisfied with the resolution of the 50mm on my d850 or d810. This lens is light and easy to carry.
