Nikon AF-S 50mm Nikkor 1:1,8G

I had a 50mm lens a few years ago but traded it in for an 85mm F1.4 which is brilliant but I found I was stuck in tight spaces. This cracking lens is superb. Sharp and fast focusing.

Ich benutze das Objektiv an DX Kameras. Wg. des Cropfaktors hat es die "richtige" Portraitbrennweite. Die Lichtstärke und die Abbildungsleistung tun ihr übriges dazu. Darüber hinaus ist das Objektiv preislich in einem interessanten Rahmen. Es ist nicht das Neuste auf dem Markt aber Gutes muss nicht aktuell und teuer sein

I bought this lens as a lightweight standard lens for a recently purchased Nikon D850. Really sharp stopped down to f4 or so, lightweight but robust. Exceptional value for the optical quality.

I havent had chance to use it much yet need to read about the best settings has not a proffesional photogragher

I like to use aperture ring. as opposed to wheel in body. Can see setting without pressing buttons etc. weog 155 g !
