Fujifilm XF 56mm F/1.2 R WR

Dustin Abbott has a detailed review of this lens online detailing it's ups and downs. I bought one even though I don't take portraits. I'm thrilled with it. The quality is amazing - every shoot with this delivers something special, technically at least. And of course the bokeh is superb. It's big and heavy so I'll use it around home or from the car rather than when backpacking. Great for flowers, leaves, woodland, most things really. Especially portraits presumably. Possibly the best quality lens I've owned in 50 years of taking photos.

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 56mm F1.2 R WR lens captures gorgeous images with soft backgrounds and is fully weather-sealed, but its slow autofocus is limiting for event photography and video.

Great construction and gives great images. On a XT50 fitted with a grip, can reduce the finger gap a bit though, but no such problem on an XT2 for example. Can be a bit front heavy on a XT 50 without a grip so it's still recommended on that body. Overall, sharp and fairly compact.
