Fujifilm Fujinon GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR

Good Points: This lens is wide. In full frame/35mm terms it's 18mm, so it has a wide angle of view. But while a FF 18mm (or even more so a 12mm ASPC) lens will throw far off objects ts into the distance, the GF23mm. Familiar with the Fuji X100 series or 23mm XF lenses? Then this gives the same perspective but just more of it. It's great but needs understanding. Improvement Points: None so far.

The GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens merits a place in the kit of every landscape and architectural photographer who owns a GFX camera. Combining excellent performance with a reasonably versatile focal length, it is surprisingly distortion free. It’s also solidly built and extensively sealed, enabling it to be used in a wide range of conditions.

An absolutely essential lens for anyone wanting to get fantastic Wide Angle images. Excellent for Landscape or Seascape images etc. Excellent quality of images, pin sharp.

I like wide angle lenses so this was the second lens I purchase after the 45mm f2.8 for the GFX-50 camera. The Fuji GF23mm f4 is well corrected, very little distortion and yes, extremely sharp. As good optically as the 43mm f4.5 Mamiya 6x7 lens from the film era. Heavy but, not excessively so. Another Impressive well made lens from fuji.
