Sony Akku NP FM-500H

I was very pleased to discover Sony were still making this battery for my A mount camera and even more pleased to see Harrison Cameras stocked them. I have used Harrison Cameras in the past and I am pleased to say the standard of service remains excellent.

Replacement battery bought as a back-up for my Sony RX10 camera. Sony and their outlets have a monopoly on this product and are exploiting it.

I'd love to drop a star because in over a decade Sony haven't followed the trend and haven't upgraded this to the max possible today (mAh) but it remains steadfastly a mAh product. However, my experience is that anything claiming more is false, and that the Sony truly delivers its stated capacity charge after charger after charge, year after year. The oldest Sony NP-FMH I have are well over a decade old and heavily used, but still deliver % of their stated capacity. I tested the two new ones and they deliver the full charge, delivering almost % longer. My learning, buy genuine Sony from a proper camera shop - they are worth it.

I bought second one for a backup, it's a must for a whole day out door photography.

The product is perfect, I could have bought a cheaper copy but prefer to stick to a item made for my camera.
