This remote will work with a 5D Mark IV, but you won't be able to use the camera's 10 sec function. Otherwise, it will work just fine. FYI only. Have used this device for a few years. And the battery lasts a long time too.

This trigger works great in the Canon ecosystem. It's ready to go out of the box, just turn your camera on remote shutter and you're good to go.
