Use to be a Bose guy, but over the last few years Sony has really stepped up its game. I just bought two of these because of the killer deal and linked them together, the sound emerges you into the front row of a concert. Amazing job Sony!

I bought this 3 weeks ago from the airport to enjoy music in the hotel room, it is great, good bass, excellent sound, battery lasts ages, when got home we could turn it up louder and still very impressed, would definitely recommend

The Sony SRS-XG300 is a powerful speaker that is perfect for parties. It's quite a bulky device so you won't want to take it everywhere with you but it's both waterproof and dustproof so you can use it outside. There are loads of extra features like fun dancing lights, a speakerphone function and a manual EQ.

When I compared this model with others like Marshall and jbl I thought it had better sound in the same category. I realized when I received and really tried it out that for the price there was going to be limitations to really how great it would sound bc this is not an expensive speaker and what can you expect ? My ultimate thought was , why buy the newer replacement when I can get this at a much reduced price with very likely the same quality tweeters and wolfer . After all how can they really improve things these days unless they drastically up the quality of the functioning parts and that means the price goes up significantly and it doesn't in the replacement. In the end I like it. It puts a great vibe wherever I carry it. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Just received yesterday, and I have to say that I was pleasantly impressed. Sound was efficient and paring was a breeze. Able to connect my MP3 player and there was plenty of good bass and the live music was substantially smoother. Would definitely recommend and purchase at a later time. Price was sale item. Couldn’t pass it up.
