Purchased this product so I could add a second monitor to my laptop using my USB3 port. Very easy driver download instructions (be sure the read instructions first), and all went well. Had some display configuration issues, so I called Startech tech support. Absolutely the BEST technical support experience EVER! Tech was able to diagnose my Windows 8 system issues and eventually got all monitors working perfectly. Very patient and persistent person, stayed with me for an hour to make sure all was working correctly. The USB HDMI adapter now gives us ability to do office work using two monitors, which will greatly improve productivity! Highly recommended product.

Pluggged it in and it just worked! have a windows 10 newer dell laptop for work. I needed this to support a 4th screen. I plugged the TV into it, plugged it into the laptop. and win 10 automatically installed drivers for it. up and working 2 minutes after I opened it. No issues a week later.

Makes it easy to have three monitors. Easy installation and quick results.

Works great as an external video adapter. ZERO problems.
