Man wird nicht informiert dass dieses Gerät bei bestimmten Erkrankungen nicht benutzt werden darf. Somit habe ich es zurückgeschickt da ich es aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht benutzen darf.

Ich hatte mal ein günstiges Gerät, war aber nach drei Anwendungen kaputt. Da hab ich mich entschlossen dieses zu kaufen. Nach der ersten Anwendung hab ich gedacht hoffentlich bringt es was.Nach einer Woche hab ich mich Rasiert und an manchen Stellen waren deutlich weniger Haare im Nassrasierer. Jetzt hatte ich die zweite Anwendung,mal schauen ob schon an anderen Stellen auch weniger Haare wachsen. Bis jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden, hoffe es bleibt so. Ich würde das Gerät wieder kaufen.

I know this is from years ago, but I wanted to add my 2 cents. This device worked for me. Like the OP, I am a Fitzpatrick type III-IV. I have very thick, dark hair. The issue for me is that the device stopped working after the warranty expired. I called Braun about it, as I was willing to pay to get it repaired because I don't want to drop $500 on a new device, but guess what? They have informed me that the device is simply not repairable, so it is now garbage, going to the landfill. Needless to say, I am beyond upset.
