Upgraded from four 2TB WD black to four 8TB Toshiba N300. Swapping drives was extremely easy without any errors. Drives seem to run quieter than the old drives, I haven't noticed a difference in read/write speeds, as I haven't pushed large amounts of data.

I have had a Raid enclosure for a couple of years now. When I upgraded my iMac to a Mac Mini I wanted to connect the new machine to be automatically backed up. As well as other devices. Nice price and plenty of storage now!

For my new RAID 5 QNAP machine I ordered 4 new hard drives from 4 different companies to avoid using the same patch units. And compare them for delivery a 5*, packaging 4*, prices 4*, and customer service 5*. Because the first drive from Scan failed but I was able to ring them up and speak to a real person and get it sorted. Very pleased with dealing with them and would buy from them again with confidence.

It's a fast 8Tb drive, not much to add, other than that mine was shipped with the usual level of careful packaging from Scan that I've come to expect :)
