Der Makita HW111 überzeugt durch solide Bauweise und lange Lebensdauer, unterstützt durch das Total Stop System. Die integrierte Schlauchtrommel und Gummiräder machen ihn praktisch. Die Leistung ist gut für Auto, Terrasse und Garten, aber der Druck ist niedriger als bei einigen Konkurrenten und der Schlauch ist kurz. Das Gerät ist zudem schwerer, daher weniger geeignet für leichte Aufgaben. Ideal für Käufer, die Zuverlässigkeit und Komfort suchen.

Pile of junk. My very rarely used machine died in less than 2 years. In that time it probably ran for no more than three hours. I returned it to Makita for a repair estimate and they came up with a price very nearly treble the cost of a new one. When I queried this they said it was down to the cost of the parts. Oddly enough it needed more parts when it got to them than it required when it left me. I suggested that I might buy a new one and send it to them so they could obtain the parts more cheaply, but after some consideration they informed me that it probably wouldn't be worth it, which was comforting as it showed that they were not quite as mad as I thought they were. Almost, but not quite. If you're prepared for the motor to burn out after a few hours use, and enjoy the challenge of dealing with mad people in rubbish 'service care' (they don't really care) departments then I suggest you rush out and buy one now. If not, don't bother.

This is my second Makits washer. The first was clumsy and heavy. This is much lighter and easier to use and move, provided I remember to switch the power and the water on. I have used all the attachments, including the brush. The instruction book is limited to diagrams, but eventually I solved the assembly problems. I could find no mention of using detergent, apart from a diagram apparently showing how to connect the detergent bottle, and no instructions as to detergent type. A raid on the kitchen solved this problem. The washer is too powerful to clean dahlia tubers!
