I have been “in the box, modelling“ recording rather than live amps for years so only used mics for vocals, and have many. Circumstances mean I can now record amps if needed and I tested this back to back with another mic I bought for the same reason and the results were great. Clean and clear with little or no colour to the sound

It's an SM57, what can I say? It just works in every situation, obviously the first thing I used it for was to mic up a guitar amp
