Sennheiser MMD 935 Mikrofonkopf

I’ve used this mic for years for my accordion reeds and have always loved it for the amount of detail you hear so decided to get a new one.

Good sounding mic. A proper cardioid. Full sound and solid build. Very responsive and easy to use. The high frequency bump isn’t as apparent as some mics but there enough to get the vocals on top of the mix.

Excellent microphone at a reasonable price. Captures a wide range of voices accurately without much need for equalisation.

I can't recommend this mic enough. I play bass and sing back up in a very loud band. Getting this mic and also in ear monitors has literally made me a different backup singer. I can get close and hit breathy lows and highs, I can back off and scream. It cuts through the mix and sounds beautiful.
