Rode VideoMicro II

I can't see the difference with the built-in microphone on my Canon R7. I looked for a long time but the red cable doesn't work on the R7, you have to use the black cable. The fleece is hard to put on, you have to twist it as if you were screwing it on. Received not very quickly but this is very rare at LDLC.

Gets much better sound than built in mics on Lumix G9 with reduced environmental noise. Worked straight out of box.

Das Mik klingt ganz ordentlich, und das Shotgun ist eine Verbesserung gegenüber dem kamerainternen Sound. Allerdings ist Gain-Staging unmöglich und ich kann damit keine Konzertaufnahme machen, da das Mikro schon bei moderater Lautstärke und tiefstmöglichem Preamp-Gain zu clippen beginnt.

Good upgrade, I mainly brought it for the better holder than the mk1 version which was a bit flimsy, this is much more rigid. Love that you can just plug it in without worrying about batteries or an on/off switch.

Auch wenn es recht klein daher kommt, so bietet es eine gute Tonqualität. Habe es bislang an meinem Sony Xperia betrieben (an den externen Monitor angeschlossen). Werde es demnächst auch an der Kamera testen. Kann es sehr empfehlen.
