Polo Red EDT 40 ml ist ein frischer, süßer Herrenduft mit Zitrus-, Cranberry- und kaffeeähnlichen Noten. Er ist sehr vielseitig und für den täglichen Gebrauch geeignet, von der Arbeit bis zum Ausgehen. Der Duft ist beliebt und ansprechend, aber die Haltbarkeit ist auf etwa 4-5 Stunden mit leichter Sillage begrenzt. This was probably one of my first real perfume experiences when I smelled Polo Red by Ralph Lauren for the first time at the airport in Bulgaria. Until then, I had always just been a BOSS Bottled wearer and never really thought about different scents. One was always enough for me. Well, in any case, I had this one in my hand at the aforementioned airport and tested it. The scent immediately captivated me. This freshness, but also this very spicy pepper note combined with the bitter and sweet of blood orange. Simply beautiful! The opening is very powerful, in my opinion, and then becomes quite soft and a bit woody as it develops. The freshness, as expected, is only a minimal nuance in the end, which makes this scent nice for winter evenings. Overall, there are certainly more refined perfumes with this DNA, but the price is not too high here, and you can easily wear it daily in autumn and winter.

Yes, it reminds me of "Y" in its scent progression, the drydown is really beautiful. The pineapple and lavender come through very well and complement each other nicely. The opening is already fruity-fresh and slightly aquatic. After a while, a berry note comes in. However, the heart notes are too synthetic for me and very densely woven. Here, Polo67 also becomes too sweet for me; I'm not sure if it fits as a summer fragrance - which I am currently looking for.
