The heart note strongly reminds me of Sedley . Spicy, citrus-fresh with a certain woodiness. This would be a candidate for an everyday or signature scent. Uncomplicated, masculine-clean with a certain roughness from wood and spice. It is definitely not extraordinary or something new. Perfect for work or sports. Personally, I wouldn't wear it on a date or for going out. Longevity and sillage are unfortunately really weak for me. You definitely don't stand out. For people who prefer it more discreetly, this could be something. But for a perfume concentration, it's really disappointing. You have to overspray. The bottle matches the name and scent profile in dark blue. Somehow, I find it too boring. But I wouldn't have expected anything different/extravagant from Polo.

I honestly quite like the Blue Parfum by Ralph Lauren. I’m really into the craftsmanship of Acqua di Gio Profumo by Armani. This Polo scent gives off similar vibes in parts, and I like that. The fragrance has a fresh shower gel character, but at the same time, it has a certain spiciness and it doesn’t have that typical designer sweetness that many fresh scents in this segment possess. It tends to take a more rugged path, which I enjoy. It starts off directly with the fresh, spicy character. Over time, it loses a bit of its fresh edge, without completely losing it. The spiciness becomes a bit more intense, and it also becomes primarily woodier. The incense component combined with the spiciness and the refreshed edge brings those ADG Profumo vibes. The scent lasts on my skin for about 6-7 hours. The projection is moderate. Unisex? Tends to be everything unisex. But I see it more on the masculine side.

The next in the Polo Blue line - and directly the most current and intense version? The parfum. Just a note: The Polo DNA from the original EDT is hardly noticeable - melon and cucumber are completely gone. Whether that's good or bad is something everyone has to decide for themselves. Since I love the original form of this DNA, there was a bit of disappointment. However, this faded quickly, as Polo Blue Parfum is a great blue scent in a vacuum and does many things right. A delicious mandarin opening, mixed with aquatic notes. Soon, woods come into play, and in the drydown, incense adds a pleasant depth. The whole composition is very well blended - not scratchy, but harmonious. Fresh and light enough for daytime, but serious enough for evening events. Even though I prefer the EDT, this one is objectively more mature and substantial. You lose fruit, but gain depth and masculine notes. Longevity and sillage: similar to the entire line.
