Ajmal Amber Wood Noir ist ein fortgeschrittenes Unisex-Eau de Parfum, das sich durch sein reiches, dunkles Duftprofil auszeichnet. Der Duft kombiniert Gewürze, Lavendel und Bergamotte in der Eröffnung, gefolgt von einer komplexen Herznote mit Rose und Elemi, die einen interessanten, etwas tierischen Charakter verleiht. Die Basisnote mit Amber, Guaiacholz, Sandelholz und Vanille sorgt für einen warmen, sinnlichen Abschluss. Mit etwa 9 Stunden Hautdauer und einer sehr starken Sillage bietet dieses Parfum hervorragende Leistungen. Es ist jedoch nicht für das Büro geeignet und kann für Duftanfänger aufgrund seines dunklen, intensiven Charakters eine Herausforderung darstellen.

I decided to use my tester of this fragrance. I actually find the scent quite classic. As described on Parfumo, this fragrance is truly a good example of the woody-fresh combo. The sandalwood and white woods give this scent its woody aroma. The woods are nicely rounded off by the fresher notes (Calabrian bergamot and white pear). The fragrance is not strong, but rather calm. I can recommend this scent as an everyday fragrance, and I will probably only wear it at home or when going out.
