Das Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 überzeugt durch sein ultradünnes und leichtes Design, wodurch es angenehm in der Hand liegt und einfach zu transportieren ist. Das große, helle Hauptdisplay und die starke Hardware sorgen für ein reibungsloses Multitasking, unterstützt durch den Flex Mode. Die Kameras sind deutlich verbessert, insbesondere die 200MP Hauptkamera. Nachteile sind die mittelmäßige Akkulaufzeit bei starker Nutzung, die relativ langsame Ladegeschwindigkeit und der geringe Einstiegsspeicher von 256GB für ein Premiumgerät. Auch fehlt die S Pen Unterstützung, was für manche ein Nachteil sein kann. Insgesamt ist dies das bisher ausgereifteste Fold, aber es gibt klare Kompromisse.

I recently upgraded from S22 Ultra to the Z Fold 7 at a heavy EOFY discount. I knew there would be compromises, but the extra screen real estate was tempting as a regular traveller device. The large screen and features of One UI 8.5 are outstanding, however the screen resolution and cameras are noticeably worse than a 4 year old S22. This is fair compromise considering the productivity, but the deal breaker for me is the battery life. I'm lucky to get half a day when using the phone the same amount as my old S22 which at least saw me through until the evening, even with a 4 year old battery. At a $1000 EOFY discount all this is ok, but for full price at release definitely not. I expected better for a 7th generation device. I'll keep trying to see if things improve but a trade in when the S27 Ultra is released will be likely for me.

I really love my new phone. The screen on it is just amazing when you want to watch a film or a video. It's great to have that option. If you like a big phone screen this is the one for you.

I upgraded from the Fold 5 and, as someone who loves the Fold series, I wouldn’t go back to a standard phone. My first impression is that the Fold 7 has more squared edges. Personally, I preferred the more rounded design of the Fold 5, but the Fold 7 is noticeably thinner and lighter, which is fantastic. The screen quality is impressive, with pictures appearing sharper and more vibrant. I did have some trouble transferring my data across and am still figuring out a few things. It’s most likely operator error, but I haven’t had this issue with previous upgrades. Overall, I’m really enjoying the Fold 7 so far and am excited to explore all of its new features.

Most versatile phone yet for all use. Lighter than my previous s24 ultra and has the just right amount of bells and whistles to have the same experience as the ultras. Amazing browsing and use with the expanded screen.
