Black & Decker PD1420LP-QW

Horrendous noise compared with my previous handheld. Very disappointed as it is a misleading advertisement “With its motor and noise reducing design it’s very quiet so you won't disturb the entire house when tidying”. The only explanation is that I might got a faulty item.

It doesn't last long. I had to throw it after 2 years. The battery supposed to be a long life one but I couldn't use it after 2 years. Not satisfied at all.

After 18 months the battery doesn't last more than one minute..

Like: nice easy-to use item. Emptying is easy and straightforward. I've used it for fairly heavy jobs like picking up lots of dog hairs, cleaning out the car (rural!) etc. and its been OK. The only thing I dislike, no, two things. Firstly the "on/off" switch is a bit stiff, you cannot switch the machine on with one hand (I can't anyway); also the brush/suction attachment broke very easily and I've had to order a replacement. Other than that a good durable device which does what it says on the tin. Would I buy again?? Probably..........

Am Anfang war ich total begeistert von diesem Staubsauger, insbesondere durch seine Fähigkeit die Hundehaare aus dem Sofa zu kriegen. Doch nach einem Jahr ging nichts mehr. Der Staubsauger geht jedes Mal nach 5 Sekunden aus. Ich schätze der Akku ist kaputt. Leider ist es unmöglich Support in irgendeiner Form zu erhalten. Von Amazon selbst wird man nur an den Hersteller vermittelt, bei dem man anrufen könnte, jedoch nur Tagsüber während der Arbeitszeit, und auch dann hängt man in Warteschleife...
