I went for a mains powered set of clippers thinking that they would be great and would cut the first time and I wouldn't have to go over areas. Yes the wire was a change from my previous battery powered clippers but ultimately these clippers sadly disappointed. I actually had to go over the same spot several times in an effort to get all the hair and spent twice/three times as long to shave my head. I have now ordered a replacement set after only 3 uses and whilst these are value clippers, I would recommend paying more for a better product.

Quite literally the worst clippers I have ever bought. To be honest they are cheap but they are awful. They are packaged really tightly into a tiny box which meant the plastic attachments were bent. As far as cutting they didn't cut well at all, the level 1 cut was nowhere near and left tufts of hair. Then about 3/4 of the way into shaving my head they cut out, never to work again. The moral here is that if a deal looks to good it probably is. I have returned and purchased some Philips one at 3 times the price, at least with those I will be able to complete a head shave.
